Job Description:

Experience in Pharmaceutical Company 3 to 4 years, In Mozambique.

First priority: Candidate should be Indian

Country Manager Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with head office and writing up quarterly/annual reports.
  • Help navigate through the regulatory and compliance landscape in target country. Including liasoning with local accountants and legal teams
  • Put together a local team in target country
  • Recruiting, vetting, and training all new staff.
  • Researching the country or region thoroughly and adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Monitoring performance at all levels and scheduling training as required.
  • Implementing an effective brand strategy and ensuring consistency.
  • Building professional relationships with staff and clients.
  • Maintaining a good image of the organization at all times.
  • Lead business development initiatives to support relevant payment methods and partner up with strategic distributors
  • Lead marketing initiatives to build awareness and drive user acquisition
  • Responsibility of sales and hiring sales team

Customer Interaction

  • Promote our product range by close customer interaction
  • Independent visits to customer’s office
  • Aggressive sales pitch during customer interaction
  • Identify business development opportunities during customer meetings
  • Evaluate credit worthiness of customers and get market references
  • Develop relationships with customers for long-term business
  • Coordinate with Sales coordinators to ensure high level of customer servicing through the dispatch process

Reports

  • Keep track of monthly sales to key customers
  • Prepare customer visit plans to efficiently engage with customers on a regular basis
  • Prepare sales reports and track sales vs. budgets

Key Skills:

  • Motivation for sales
  • Be capable of taking independent meetings with customers
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Very good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Mature individual

Employment Type: Contract

Country Manager Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, the management, or a related field (preferably a master’s degree).
    • A postgraduate degree in sales, finance, or similar is also acceptable.
    • A good knowledge base of the country/region, and a willingness to learn.
    • The ability to provide excellent customer service.
    • Good people-management skills.
    • Experience living abroad is advantageous.
    • Sensitivity to different cultural norms.
